The
meeting was opened at 6pm by chairman Jack Kuzina with a welcome to
all 32 members present. No proxies were presented.
- Jack Kuzina read the minutes from last years meeting. No comments were made. Minutes accepted.
- Treasurer Christian distributed and commented on the financial report. The report was accepted without comment.

c) Motion to change Rule 3 in our Club rules – Tom Berger
Motion Carried by all. (This change means that we will
follow the USGA/R&A book which
have no rule for this. However the USGA/R&A has a recommendation
that a local rule can be made to protect young trees, i.e., we will
follow the local rules set by each golf course. If the course has not
made a local rule for this, then the trees have no protection, so you
play it as you find it or take an unplayable lie according to rule
28.)
5. General Business
Motion from Alan Gariano to introduce a rule where a
member who has been suspended twice shall be dismissed
permanently from the club on the third infraction.

carried by all.
Motion
from Jim Catterson that in order to be eligible to
take part in the money competition in the away games, a member must
have submitted at least one scorecard in the 4 weeks leading up to
the competition.

from Jim Lockhart that anybody shall have the option to play off the
forward tees at Lanna.

off the most forward tees. Motion carried.

from Jack Kuzina that the price for the annual dinner be set at 200
baht per person for members and spouses. Children under 12 free.

from Ken Nalder and Frank Schwarz that we make a slope rating for
courses that do not already have an official slope rating in order to
provide members with adjusted Handicap Indix for the course and Tee
Box played. Motion carried.
A
question was asked if the captains have the USGA/R&A rule book as
decided in last years AGM. The answer is Yes. The captains have the
book (or an electronic version of it). In addition several other
members have it. It is recommended that the members go to
www.randa.org from where one can
download all the rules and decisions. The rule book is available for
IOS, Android and Windows phones.
